In lieu of Valentine's Day and motivating students to read more, PMS organized a Book Speed Dating Event. 5th-8th gr students gathered this afternoon to rapidly discuss their current or favorite reads with classmates. Students came away with a rated book list of future reads.
PES Valentine's class parties begin at 2:15 TODAY. Be sure to check in at the front office.
MONDAY is LAST day for Annual Pageant Sign ups - There will be $900 in prize money given to winners. Annual pageant is March 2nd. Last chance to sign up for the pageant is Monday before lunch!!
Paris High School will be providing an ACT Boot Camp for interested juniors and sophomores. The camp will be from 7:00 am - 7:45 am on morning of February 15th. Sign-up sheets will be in English classrooms.

PMS Student Council will host dance March 1! 5th & 6th gr 4-5:30 and 7th & 8th gr 5:30-7. Tickets $4 in advance or $5 at door. Bring money for the concession stand! Tickets on sale 2/19 & can be purchased from Parent Involvement rm or Mrs. Duggar. No admittance without ticket!

Students in Mrs. Fawcett's Allied Health class at the Tyson Logan County Career Center on the PHS campus have been learning about the parts and functions of the heart. In lieu of Valentine's Day, they recently dissected a pig heart.
