As a way to build on the culture of reading, the PMS library hosted a social media conversation/contests for PMS students this first 9 weeks. The conversation was built around the question, "Why do you read?" #whyiread The winner of the first 9 weeks contest was Noah Voller. He received $100! PES students are so excited when they get selected to "Eat Lunch with the Principal." Each week, 3 students are chosen from each classroom from a specific grade level to have lunch with Mrs. Schluterman or Mr. Pearson. Students are chosen for a number of reasons from making improvements academically and/or behaviorally, demonstrating a positive work ethic, being helpful and demonstrating good character traits.
