*1 st day packets: All students should receive a first day packet. Fifth and sixth grade should receive theirs from their first period teachers. Seventh and eighth grade should receive theirs from their third period teachers. All students need to take packets home to your folks, have them update/make any and all changes, and return by the end of this week. Thank you!!!
*End of day dismissal: Everyone PLEASE make sure you know how you’re getting home at the end of the day...make sure you know what bus you ride, or if your folks pick you up make sure you know where that is also. If you need to call to verify there are phones in each classroom.
*Band: Wednesday, August 14 there will be a Band Instrument Rental night from 5:00 – 7:00 o’clock p.m. in the Middle School Auditorium. See Mr. Drymon for more details.
*Blue/White volleyball: This Friday 8/16/24 there will be a Blue/White Volleyball game
*FCA: FCA is hosting a back to school bash 8/20/24 at PHS from 5:00 – 7:00 – there will be refreshments, fellowship and good times!! It’s FREE and everyone is invited!!
*Benefit game: Following the FCA bash our Jr. & Sr. High football teams will host a benefit game vs. Charleston – good luck Eagles!!!
*Football: Good luck to our football teams: 8/29/24 Jr. High hosts Waldron with
8:00 o’clock kick off; 8/30/24 Sr. high travel to Waldron with an 8:00 o’clock kick off.

*SWAT: Eighth grade will have their first SWAT 8/30/24 – students report to first period as usual then head to second for attendance and further instructions!
* Labor Day: Paris Schools will not be in session 9/2/24 in observance of Labor Day – enjoy!
*Grandparents Day: Monday, September 9, Middle School will host Grandparents day. Please stay tuned for further updates/details!
*Early dismissal: Middle School will have early dismissal (1:20 ish) on the following dates for teacher Professional Development – 9/11/24; 10/2/24; 11/6/24; 12/4/24.
*After school tutoring: After school tutoring is available to our students each Monday and Wednesday after school in our Library beginning 9/16/24. Tutoring ends at 4:15 - you’ll need to make prior arrangements for transportation home. LAST day for tutoring 1st semester will be 12/11/24.
* Fall pictures: Middle School will have fall pictures taken September 18, 2024. Retakes and club pictures will be taken 10/30/24.
