The Paris School District Board of Education met on Thursday, August 12, 2021 for the regular monthly meeting. During the meeting the Board decided that all PK-8 grade students and faculty will be required to wear a mask while at school. Students will be given mask breaks throughout the day and will not be required to wear masks when they are able to social distance. While on the bus, on the playground, or at school activities after the school day, students will not be required to wear a mask.
For the Paris High School faculty, staff, and students, it is highly recommended that all wear a mask.
The Board of Education will revisit the mask mandate at the September 9, 2021 regularly scheduled board meeting.
QUARANTINE RULES
All fully vaccinated students and staff DO NOT have to quarantine.
If two people are properly wearing masks and one is exposed, that person DOES NOT have to be quarantined.
