
With National Custodial Appreciation Day happening yesterday, we want to thank our custodians who help keep our schools in great shape every day. Some voted for no pictures and thats is ok, we appreciate all of the workers who keep our schools up and running. We appreciate Ms Jo and Mr Topher!


Tutoring: After school tutoring is today at 3:15 until 4:15 and will be held every Monday and Wednesday in the Media Center/Library. HOWEVER, there will be no After School Tutoring this Wednesday due to a faculty meeting. Please contact Ms Suiter if you would like to sign your child up for tutoring.

Ms. Morgan Redding's 6th grade Social Studies class participated in Celebrate Freedom Week by having a Reader's Theater of the signing of the Declaration of Independence!

Paris Middle School and Principal Mike Nichols would like to give a big shout out and thank you to the Paris School District IT Department! Mr Chris Wade (Technology Coordinator) and Mr Jacob Canada (Computer Technician) go above and beyond each and every day to support the students and staff at Paris. A small token of appreciation was given in honor of all the hard work they put in! Thank you guys!!


Mrs Jennifer Rice's class had an escape room in her class for Constitution Day and only one team took the victory and escaped!!!





GRANDPARENTS: We hope you all had a great time spending time with your grandkids last week at the different activities across the district/area. We also hope you will come join the fun at the middle school this week. Due to all of the activities and schedules, we decided to have ours this Thursday, September 22nd at Paris Middle School from 7:30-9:30am in the Media Center with coffee, donuts, etc. The schedule will be:

Kelsey Forest (far left) and Keri Coffey (middle) our inclusion teachers that assist students and teachers at Paris Middle School in Math and Literacy. Carla Suiter (far right) has been a staple at PMS for many years and oversees 504's, dyslexia, Sonday, assists with inclusion, Curriculum Instructor, and so much more. We are very appreciative of the ladies who support, teach, and encourage our students and teachers!

7th/JR High Football will take on West Fork tonight at Paris. The Eagle 7th graders are currently 2-0 and the JR High is 1-0. Both games will be livestreamed on the Paris Sports Channel.

Today we honor our para-professionals at Paris Middle School! "The Gap Girls" have over 61 years of experience supporting the staff, faculty and students. From left to right, Denise Maness, Linsey Porter, Amy Parker and Tonya Johnson (not pictured Jessie Henderson). These ladies are INTEGRAL in the success of our school and are involved in reading interventions, mentoring, family engagement, and support for students and staff. We are very grateful for these ladies!


Let's meet our 7th Grade team at Paris Middle School. This group welcomes 2 new members: Jerica Robertson and Theresa Taylor. Mrs. Robertson (far left) is teaching Health and is in her first year of teaching. Mrs. Jennifer Owen (2nd on left) continues to teach Science and coach the SR High Cheerleaders. Ms Theresa Taylor (2nd from right) is new to the team but definitely not to Paris Middle School. She moves up this year to teach 7th grade English. Mrs Pfeiffer (far right) is continuting to teach Math. This team brings 27 years of experience to the table along with energy, humor, leadership, team building, and the list could go on and on!


The Paris Middle School 6th grade team is excited for another school year! From left to right, Mrs Bazyk (Math), Ms Tierney Redding (Science), Mrs Nolan (ALE), Ms Morgan Redding (Social Studies), and Mrs Harrison (Literacy) bring 31 years of experience to their classrooms. This team has a great mixture of teachers with various years of experience and bring it ALL to the table! We are proud of our 6th grade team at PMS!
