REMINDER that PMS is hosting an OPEN HOUSE on Thursday, August 10th from 4:00-6:00. There will be time to explore the campus and meet the teachers from 4:00-4:45 and from 5:00-5:45. We will have a brief meeting in the auditorium for the parents to hear from some staff at 4:45-5:00 and 5:45-6:00. Both sessions will be the same and not a must to attend. Hope to see you all sometime Thursday!
On Thursday, August 10th, there will be a mandatory Band parent and student meeting right after open house. The meeting will take place at the Middle School auditorium and will start at 6:15 pm. This is for all 6th - 8th Grade Band students and parents. The meeting should last about an hour. Please make plans to attend.
Paris Middle School is looking for applicant(s) to assist during the mid-day for recess supervision. The times would be from 11:00-12:45. This is an hourly position with lunch! Please email tprieur@parisschools.org if you are interested.
We are 2 weeks away from the first official day of school!!! For the past few years, we have had a staggered start and we are going to continue this. August 14th, 5th and 8th graders will report to PMS and then on August 15th, 6th and 7th graders will report. On August 16th, all grades will report to PMS for the 2023-2024 school year!

Paris Middle School would like to welcome Lauren Cannon to the team! Mrs Cannon will be teaching 7th Grade Math. Why does that name ring a bell??? Her husband, Andrew Cannon, is a 5th grade teacher at PMS. We are excited to have both Cannons teaching at PMS. This is a BIG BOOM (2 Cannons!) for students at PMS.

We are 28 days away from the start of school!!! We hope everyone is having a wonderful summer and can utilize the last 28 days for more rest, relaxation, and recreation! However, school supply list are ready and here they are!
REPORT CARDS: They have been dropped off to the Post Office this morning and should be arriving next week to your home.
If your student won an award on Wednesday at the Awards Assembly and wasn't here to get their certificate, you can pick those up at the PMS office today or next week!
As we end the 2022-2023, we are saying a good bye to Mrs Maness! After 19 years, the Maness' are headed to the mission field! We appreciate the time, support, and encouragement Mrs Maness brought to students, staff and the community on a daily basis!
We would like to congratulate THE BENCHWARMERS for finishing up the year at the A GAMES CHAMPIONS! The team got to celebrate yesterday at El Parian and enjoyed a snow cone afterwards!
We had great success with the A GAMES this year and look forward building on it next year. Special thanks to Ms Canada for leading this incentive all year long.
Has your child lost a jacket, hoodie, or anything else... we may have it! Come by Thursday or next week to claim! If not, we will wash and place in the clothes closet!

PMS was honored to host the 8th grade Honors Banquet tonight! These students have had a 3.5 for all four years at PMS!
PMS was excited to host 4th grade orientation today! Students were able to meet their next teachers for next year and tour the campus!
