Paris Elementary 2nd grade students enjoyed sharing some Christmas songs with the residents at Paris Health and Rehab this week! #wearepariseagles

If you were chosen as December Student of the Month at PES, please remember to bring your yard sign back this week! Thank you!

PES students are so excited when they get selected to "Eat Lunch with the Principal." Each week, 3 students are chosen from each classroom from a specific grade level to have lunch with Mrs. Schluterman or Mr. Pearson. Students are chosen for a number of reasons, from making improvements academically and/or behaviorally, demonstrating a positive work ethic, to being helpful and demonstrating good character traits. Congratulations to this week's students who were selected from kindergarten! #wearepariseagles

Paris Elementary second grade students had the opportunity to complete a Christmas wreath project with their family's help before Christmas break. Always some very unique ideas! These wreaths are on display in the PES second grade hallway. #wearepariseagles

Congrats to Kyrah Sharp on reading 50 books to become the newest member of the Paris Elementary 1st grade Brown Bear Reading Club! Way to go! #RiseAR #wearepariseagles

Paris Elementary School hosted Literacy nights for K-4th grades on December 10th and 12th. Students enjoyed hearing Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas, read by retired educator and PHS alum, Dr. Glenda Ezell. Families were also treated to some grinch juice and cookies, a surprise visit from the Grinch himself and had the opportunity to make their own bookmarks and tour the decorated hallways.
